Classic William Bradshaw Chair
A most unusual English Regency dining chair and a very rare model. A similar example was offered for sale in 1941 and this disffered by having an opposed S’ in the central splat. The reeded back stiles, being connected to the front sabre legs, makes the chair incredibly strong and obviates the need for a matching elbow chair. Of interest to furniture historians and collectors of Regency furniture, we now understand why this model is so rarely seen. This chair is, qifficult simply, too difficult to make as it requies very little machining and a great deal of handwork. Available to special order only. Further details are available upon request.
