The B Harmer sofa
B Harmer is a late Georgian English furniture maker who produced the magnificent drawing room suite for Powderham Castle and the well documented dining chairs for William Shepherd (d.1815) of Russell Square, London. The Harmer sofa has the same sabre legs with inset reserved and ebonized detail as well as the signature slightly hoofed foot. This sofa was awarded for the best design at London’s Decorex exhibition. Upholstered in the best traditional manner with an extravagant feather cushion seat or close covered, the Classic Chairs model is extremely comfortable and elegant.
